b Abt 1480, went to fight at Flodden Field in 1513. He appears in the Clifford Muster Rolls as a Bow Man – The so called 'Flodden Muster' – of 1510/11. He was a married, the only child
found was Robert Hall My Thirteenth Generation Robert Hall b Abt. 1506 married in about 1531 to Jennett ….. b Abt 1510 they had 11 children,
their father died 10 April 1562 There were 2 Post Mortem Inquisitions, in which we find that he was a Clothier/Fuller, and he left all to his Worldly Goods to his wife, Jennett she died 31 January 1573 and was
buried in St Andrews Keighley, In her Will dated 31 Jan 1573/4, her children were left the following, one dry fatte one counter & one chiste, one arke, one bushel of ote meele one coffer standinge in the Upper
Chamber and all my gold & silver playte and Jewelles therein whatsoever my greateste brasse potte & my beste kirchif .to another son she gives my leaste brasse potte to a daughter my greatest pan , and to
another my nexte greateste pane and all the Residewe of myne apparell equallie to be devided amonge them my daughters and Grandaughter. Also to her one blacke why with calfe and as muche carsey as wilbe her
a gown The Residew of all my goods moveable & unmoveable my debts & legacs beynge paid and my funerall expences descharged I gyve and Bequythe to my sones daughters the remainder to equallie to be

Robert Hall b 1568 at Newsholme and from his Will dated
1632, we find he had married Elizabeth Shackleton, of his 10 children, his eldest son Robert Hall, died young, but the next son was also Robert Hall b 1620 and from the 2 Post Mortum Inquisitions it tells that
Robert Hall the younger was 12 years of age, baptised 29, September 1620 in St Andrews Keighley The Shackleton's were of Harden Manor in the Parish of Bingley, with firm connections to Newsholme in Keighley were
they lived. They were said to be Quakers, and some of them were sent to York Gail. They later sold Harden Manor, and went to live in Ireland. My Tenth Generation Robert Hall b 1620 baptised September 29, 1620 in St Andrews Keighley, married Isabell Keighley 16, February 1669/70 in Bingley Parish Church. They had 4 daughters, three of whom married
and were beneficiaries to their father's Will Proved 28 June 1716, he died 6 July last. Isabell died 29, March 1676. Robert married Mary Clapham b Abt. 1653 and wed 9, October 1680 in Kidwick Parish Church. They had 13
children. James next to youngest son was his fathers heir. All children living chidren were mention in Will. Robert eldest son, hah his inheritances, when he married Elizabeth Heaton, he built two Mills at Newsholme.
Robert Hall the father, Built a large fine house, in 1670 with date stone over the door, where they all lived. It was big that later in 1844 half of it was made into St John's Church Newsholme, and a quarter of it is
the Sunday School. By Frederick Greenwood. The rent for the Church is one shilling per week, and when David Ogden owner receives this, he puts it on the collection plate. David and his wife live in the rest of the
House. The house was bought by David's Grandfather. There is also a Memorial of his Will. My Ninth Generation

My Eighth Generation Robert Hall b 1719 Newsholme, baptised 22 April 1719 St Andrews Keighley a widower, married 25 June 1752, in Coley Church Parish of Halifax Elizabeth Spieght spinster. Mary Taylor
his first wife had died earlier in the same year. He had 5 small children to Mary., between 1739 and 1750. Robert and Elizabeth, added nine more Alice Hall being one of them My Seventh Generation Joseph Pickles
b. c1761, Haworth/Keighley, married 16 April 1781, in Keighley Parish Church by Banns., Alice Hall, born Newsome in Keighley and baptised 11 November1761 at St Andrews Keighley Parish Church, she died 8 June 1807 at Newsholme and buried 11 Jun 1807, at St Andrews Keighley. Joseph had died 17 Apr 1799 at Newsholme, and buried 20 Apr 1799, St Andrews Keighley.
